5. Apr 15,  · Sounds great to me. I have a lot of Music On Vinyl Miles reissues and I'm completely happy with each of them. This is a lo-fi, murky album at best and, to my ears, MOV have managed to bring out sonic details that allow the album to sound as good as it possibly can/5().

On the surface, it looks like just a collection of outtakes, no different from the filler releases from Miles Davis’ retirement: Directions, Circle in the Round, etc.

7. Apr 17,  · By the time of "Get Up With It" they were exhausted with Miles' weird electric music. Contrary to all of that, I always loved "Get Up With It" and still do. It is interesting to compare the original mix of "Rated X" on "Get Up With It", to Bill Laswell's different mix on the "Panthalassa" album.
